Well, Bailey took 10 years off my life today! Ever since she turned 7 (which is considered senior status) shes had senior blood panels done. Which, unfortunately has showed a increase in her liver panels. So, today I took her up to Kimberly Crest Vet hospital for a liver meddle aspiration. They gave her a reversal med to bring her quickly out of anesthesia. She was fine for the drive home. I left her by herself while I went out to lunch. When I got back home Bailey was sluggish, stumbling and then collapsed. I thought she had a stroke! My very lovely neighbors, helped me get her into the car and followed me out to the vet office. Then carried her into the clinic. Turns out, she just had a bad reaction to the anesthesia! Talk about stopping my heart! Shes doing fine now. :)
