Well Facebook Friends.....Left for Tulsa at 6:30 am and didnt get home until 5:00... Went in to have blood work first, they take like 11 vials of blood....while they are taking my blood, my clinical lady, Melissa, who is super sweet, came in to ask me questions, like she always does.... and she mentioned my cat scans from two weeks ago...I could tell by the look on her face it wasnt good....I shouldnt have put her on the spot and waited until I saw the Dr....anyway she said the news wasnt good and that my tumors and gotten larger and that kicked me off the clinical study...so I wouldnt have my last chemo for the study and she almost cried...I told her it would be ok, God has a plan....but then I cried a little bit because I wont see her much anymore...she said I could still call her. Anyway, I then had to go see the dr. which went faster than normal...and I told Bob what she said and he was pretty upset...but I told him not to worry God has a plan....Dr. came in and I said... so what do we do now? he said the tumors grew but not by that much but it was enough to kick me off the study...showed us my cat scans on computer, which was pretty cool... then said he wants me to start a new chemo called Doxil Infusion...he said there are several different chemos I can try before I have to go back to the Taxol, which is what i took right after surgery, that made me very sick and lost my hair...So Praise God, we had to wait almost 2 hours to find out if I could start it today, and they said yes. Had my first treatment this afternoon, it lasted two and a half hours and I slept through the whole thing. It looked like red kool aid...weird... anyway I need your prayers, because the most common side effect is blisters in your mouth or anywhere on your body..heat causes them...so I cant eat anything unless it is room temperaturefor cooler, cant be in the sun, cant touch anything warm and have to take a cool shower, brrrrrrrrrrrr.... good thing is, I cant do dishes by hand which I do often, or scrub floors, anything that would cause friction, shoes rubbing, bra rubbing etc....can cause blisters. So please pray for me....another funny thing on the paper work they sent home on the new med. said,Warning..This drug may cause very bad and sometimes deadly heart problems so now I might not die of cancer, I might have a heart attack...just joking, but it really did say that...Thank the Lord I Trust Him with it all! He has a plan, so dont need to worry...God is Good--Gotta Have Faith!!!!! Go back in 4 weeks for another treatment, and then every 4 weeks until we see if it is doing me any good.....
