Well Family, I am in the airport on my way to Africa. I am going to Banjul in the Gambia. The Gambia is one of Africas smallest countries and is largely a creation of the British. Like much of Africa, the boundaries and even the make up of the countries in Africa, were designed by Europeans with the interests of Europeans in mind, not the local people themselves. And this is one of the major reasons that it is so difficult to build a true sense of African unity, because of the determination of Europeans to rule and exploit Africa, whether they do it directly or indirectly. Nevertheless, even though I have been to Africa many, many times and even to the Gambia as recently as two years ago, I am pleased to be going back home. I will be there for several days and hope to have many reports for you from the Motherland. Many blessings to you!
