Well, I am spending the opening Sunday of football season stuck in a hospital bed. I had to have a minor surgical procedure on Friday and they are keeping me a few days to load me up with antibiotics. I wont let this get me down though. This ordeal is truly testing my mettle regularly and I refuse to let it beat me. Ive seen a lot of people listing things they are thankful for. I dont have the words to express my gratitude for the amazing support system I have in my life. My family and friends have seen me through the roughest stretch of my life and I love you all for it. Ive said it before, treasure the ones you love above all else. Life is cruel and miserable and ugly sometimes but it is jaw-droppingly beautiful sometimes too. I am inspired to be a better man by the outpouring of love and support Ive gotten. Its just not that hard to be a decent human being. Tell someone you love them today. Im grateful for that chance everyday. Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to share a kind word. And go Falcons!!
