Well, I am thoroughly wiped out and in desperate need of a shower. The crates are all moved into place, but in order to do that I had to first clear out the garage, which I have been putting off until it was cooler. Even so, it was a horrible, sweaty job getting everything pulled out and swept behind. But I got all the poultry stuff finally cleared out, the floors thoroughly swept clear and all the Christmas stuff reorganized so that I could move the stuff in the house OUT to make room for the dog crates. I love how small our retirement house is, I makes it easier for me to manage and to get around with the bad leg, but sometimes it feels like a Chinese Checkers puzzle trying to move things around. Once the garage was finished, my big incubator went OUT and Crystals crate went into my bedroom where it had been. Then Esmes crate went where Crystals had been. Did I mention that I also did three loads of laundry while this was going on? Tomorrow, I will move the rest of the Christmas decorations out to the garage where they belong, so that I can have the storage room in the hallway back. But for now, the biggest headache is done: the garage is all cleared and swept and Ive moved the incubator out and made room for Esme in here. So I am taking a breather, getting out of these nasty sweaty clothes and taking a shower. And maybe a snack. :)
