Well I can too! And whats fun is that I still have a lot of them. I love the way that if you wait long enough fashion revolves right back around to what it was approximately 8 to 10 years previously. I am so blessed to have a mini me in a beautiful niece I have whos name is Mandy. She is my sisters daughter and I love her to the ends of the earth. She has always marched to her own drum and was born about 30 years too late. She is the ultimate little hippie chic. She recently fell in love with a tie die dress that I had that I told myself was one that I would never sell and would keep it for myself. It was the total 60s 70s epitome. She saw it when she came to visit last week and absolutely fell in love with it. If it had been anyone else I would have said ABSOLUTELY NOT but I cant deny her anything I love her so much. I wouldnt just give it to her, like I normally try to do with close friends and family if I possibly can. I told her that if she wanted to pay me what I paid for it she could have it. I dont know if its true with everything one and thin?, but Ive found that if you charge someone some price for a material item they generally have a tendency to appreciate it more. Maybe since they spent their own money they take the item more seriously? Anyway, I gave her a price, (it was really only half of what it had cost me) and she, bless her heart got her own money out of her pocket and paid me on the spot. She now tells me she wore it to her first day back to college. I love this so much because those of you who know me, know I LOVE the unusual, especially bright colors and big gaudy jewelry. Never having a daughter to watch grow up and see if my tastes influenced hers or not surly has been a disappointment, but to see my niece so much like me when it comes to certain types of clothes etc. is wonderful. Thank you Mandy. I still have clothes that I was wearing in Jr. High. I have been amazed walking into stores lately because the clothing section looks almost identical to 1972 or there abouts. FUN COLORFUL BRIGHT. Just the way I like to feel. I believe that what a person wears really does say a lot about their personality in general. So Brenda, you keep on wearing those earrings and enjoying every minute of it. Thanks for giving me a thought provoking listing this morning.
