Well I didnt catch a bass tonight but my expectations were tempered going into the excursion knowing that it was my first time ever fishing in Florida on a lake Ive never wet a line in before... that and the nights here have been dropping down into the low 50s and from what Ive gathered through local word of mouth and research the Florida strain bass are a very fickle creature when cold fronts move in. So needless to say, withe the three or so hours of fishing tonight I think Im going to be drafted to a Major League team for all the pitching I did tonight lol. All in all I really enjoyed my time out there taking in all the new and different habitat and so many unique animals that inhabit this magnificent eco system and fishery! Thats what it was all about to me tonight. A new found playground and the promise it holds for future endeavors. I did more exploring than actual fishing and that was worth it more than anything!
