Well I got a letter from doyon today stating my reason for termination. Now I wasnt fulfilling my job duties to theyre high standards. DUS has determined you were not able to consistently perform the requirements of the position to the necessary standards. Oh hell no! Hell f**cken no! That is a load of sh*t if I EVER heard it. I was told that daily I was appreciated for my efforts not only by my direct supervisor, the camp management and our clients thanked me for the extra effort I put forth to the best of my ability and beyond. My boss thanked me multiple times daily for my extra effort and said also he was glad to have a crew member he didnt have to constantly tell what to do all day long. Says he was happy I knew what had to be done. Says I had the incentive to get things done efficiently and right. An attribute and asset I learned from my mom, dad and grandparents, and my first mentors in this industry, Teddy Pan and my late aunt Anna Pestrikoff. Fellow AVTEC alumni. I was going to just let go and let GOD, take my licks but not now. 3 things they want to use to smear me! Not a f**ken chance. Anyone who knows me or been around me in a kitchen, be it home, commercial, restaurant, cafeteria setting or catering a private party knows I put 100% into what I do and I do it because I love it, and it showed in my presentation and the satisfaction on the faces of those whom have experienced my cooking and culinary design and passion for it and IN it. Oh and there was no mention of the other 2 reasons I was told first. The non compliance for not answering my cell phone in the ER and the non disclosure of my past addiction to narcotic pain medication. Not a word of it. They claim I didnt measure up to theyre standards. With this type of treatment, who are they to claim they have them. Thank you GOD I am not a shy person.
