Well, I got my email working for a few minutes......... First message I seen was that my old friend K9 Jeff had been found dead this morning, no signs of injury. Jeffs owner believes he may have been poisoned.......... Jeff was a proverbial mountain of a canine - he was the father to my service K9 Miller...... Rest in peace Jeff, the world is indeed a darker place today with your passing......... You gave me such joy in my visits, you would always met me at the gate when I came to visit, you would run along the car as I left - and you gave me Miller...... Through him you will live on - but be missed none the less. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear lord, Please take this humble creature into your kingdom, allow him safe passage over the rainbow bridge to where the fields are full of grass and tennis balls have wings, and where Doggie bones drop from trees like leaves. His master will be along in time but for now let him be whole again - let him run free and play and romp in the sunshine. Dear Lord please take Jeff - and hold him close, comfort him and let him know it will be ok. In your name I pray, Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, thank you for having entrusted us with such a loyal pet. Thank you for letting him teach us unselfish love.
