Well I got the precinct vote totals today and it was pretty interesting. I won 17 and Tommy won 18. What I was most proud of was the precincts I won was the blue collar, middle class and farming communities. The coolest thing was the precincts that I won by the biggest margin was my own District that I represented. I was very proud of that. My opinion on the Flat Rock Playhouse bailout obviously hurt me, cause I lost the gated community vote. Overall, I was very humbled by the support I had and the close race. One percent isnt too bad to lose by. I wish Tommy all the luck in the world and I hope some issues we debated, will cause some discussion. I just want to thank all the people who supported me, donated money, put signs in their yard and magnets in their cars. Yall are awesome. My committee members have no idea how much I appreciate them. Debi Freeman Ward, Don Ward, and Don Griffin, Stephanie Jackson Cosgrove. Boulder Dalton. Rachel Washburn Tankersley and Tank, Charles Thomas worked especially hard for me. Everyone who worked the polls for me and the Body Shop , Flex 4 Fitness gyms as well as Tire Country were jam up with their help. I will be sending out thank you notes to all who helped. I hate we lost, but that is politics. God Bless you all and thank you again! :-)
