Well I had a wonderful surprise today, Beverly called and asked Brian and I to go up as they needed to chat to us, first thought Oops, now what. Anyway I walked in and everyone started singing Happy Birthday to me, I thought - hmmm hang on it is my birthday next Sunday, I will be 70. Anyway off to the dining room and the table had candles on some mud cake, as well as a huge and I mean huge Pavlova. It soon dawned on me why this was today and the reason was as follows. Brian has bought me tickets to the Queensland Symphony concert , for the night of 16th November, :A night at the Proms,: which is fantastic. To add to this lovely present , Ivan and Beverly and family have booked us into a beautiful hotel called the Rydges South Bank , check it out on Google. They have given us two nights, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th with a check out on the 18th. This is a beautiful hotel and we will be able to walk across from the Concert to our hotel. Am so very excited thats for sure, as there has been a lot of nonsense going on, and they all know me, I hate to not know what is what. Anyway lots of other presents from the Grandchildren and our adopted Grand Child , Patrick, he is staying with Bev and family and has become part of the family. I also got a lovely surprise from Ian and Wendy and the family, as Beverly has arranged for Ian to get us tickets to the One day International day/night cricket at the Gabba against England. Wow what a lucky girl I am thats for sure. Beverly decided to give this all to me today while everyone was home together as 3 days after my birthday they are all going off to America and to Disneyland, and then sadly once back Beverly starts her chemo, so it was really lovely to celebrate this occasion, thanks to everyone, I am absolutely thrilled.
