Well I have had better weeks, Monday / Tuesday up the hospital undergoing tests for the pain/swelling in my legs after scans the good news, there were no clots... Phew. Wednesday back to docs still with swelling in my legs , prescribed water tablets within 24 hours swelling almost gone and pain greatly reduced, great news... Side effects lowers your blood pressure thought I was going to face plant the bathroom floor yesterday... Back to docs this morning feeling confused / light headed good news she said about swelling in legs , stop taking water tablets and this will improve blood pressure and see how legs are after the weekend. After all this talk this week about how difficult it is to see your GP I have nothing but good things to say about my surgery, on Monday within 1 hour of seeing GP I was referred to Derriford hospital and was undergoing tests.. I think that is brilliant. So hear I am legs up on the sofa, no sailing for me this week , watching series 2 of Breaking Bad. Need to get this sorted travelling to Canada in 5 weeks time, I am still coming Wendy Horswill &Toni Nunn. Biggest thanks to my dear wife Debbie you have been an absolute rock this week. X
