Well, I have returned as a resident at the IU Hotel...sigh. Been retaining fluid and its gotten out of control, causing me a lot of pain. Also started having a pretty bad ache in my right leg that felt horribly similar to the original blood clot that led to my diagnosis two years ago, and it turns out I was right, so Im currently on an IV drip of heparin to try to break the clot up. My white cell count and neutrophils are high, so they are testing for infection, and were waiting on results from a CT scan to make sure I dont have clotting or infection in my lungs because Ive been having breathing pains and a dry cough. So, all in all, not great news to share, but wanted to make sure I updated everyone with what I know so far. Hopefully things will start getting better very soon, especially since its my birthday in a week AND my baby blubber is coming home right after that!
