Well, I have some big news, I suppose! I applied to substitute teach a couple weeks ago in the two school districts here in town. I had felt for quite awhile that I really wanted to DO something....and school is just what I love to do. One of those schools is Williamsburg Independent where David Root coaches. After returning my application, I was asked if I might be interested in something more than substituting ...I said sure! I was offered a full time position aiding in a Kindergarten Class. I will be working with and supporting 4-5 very special kids within that classroom. I am so excited to get to be a part of Williamsburg Schools! I have met so many great people there and I have really missed teaching and being with kids. So, school starts Monday! So much for retirement....:-)
