Well, I have some weird news this morning... I think Ive mentioned before ... I tend to do a lot of work in my sleep. Lucid dreaming, I guess - I work through possible recipes, ideas, etc, and then wake up ready to GO. Lately, Ive been wondering what my next career will be. All the way up to Beyond Flour, it felt like it would be my last cookbook. As it was completed - and especially when I held the first copy in my hands - I was satisfied. This was a GREAT note to go out on... but what next? As I still have two more sewing manuals to put out before Im done writing, I was working through those overnight last night. Chapter structure, things Ill need to include for each book, how I want to present certain techniques, that sort of thing. Well, apparently my brain had other ideas at some point in the night, and I woke up this morning knowing that Beyond Flour is going to have a sequel. Ack! Already had a focus (desserts!), name and chapter layout when I woke up but, Im still processing some of the finer details.... like timing. Im a big fan of releasing cookbooks in September or October, but that would mean doing another Kickstarter.. right about now. So... Ill be doing some thinking today. It came on kinda suddenly, and Im a PLANNER. Will keep you up to date on things, either way!
