Well, I have to admit it. I am not often surprised by things anymore but today, I got one, and I wish I could say it was pleasant. On the 7th, my wife went in to the ER with pain from what turned out to be pleurisy. During our 4 hour stay, she received no IVs, had only minimal blood tests that took 5 people stabbing at my wife for over an hour to be able to draw, had one x-ray taken, which we already have paid for, and received no medication or prescriptions. In fact, she was almost not there at all, and their involvement was minimal. In fact, two people at her work told her she had this before she even left. Good call you two, evidently you should become doctors, youd make a lot more than you do at Wal-Mart, I assure you. All told, I was expecting a modest bill, via hospital standards, but instead, well, I will be going by their offices today to get an itemized list of charges, lets just leave it at that. It is more in line with what I would expect to see for a surgery of some sort. We will see if it is a mistake or not. I believe the possibility is definitely there. >_>
