Well, I just got off the phone with John a Microsoft Windows technician. He wanted to help me remove all the viruses from my computer. He wanted me to download a program from a website msn4.tk (Dont click it. Its an automatic download.) Obviously I know it was a scam but I wanted information. They are very good at sounding reasonable. Please let your relatives, who may be less computer literate, know that they are very convincing, but it is a scam. The numbers they quote you are standard numbers (not identification numbers). They lead you through a series of Functions to find standard files and make them sound ominous. He was really upset that I didnt trust him, when I told him I googled his customer service phone number 559-529-5300 and that others were warning me it was a scam. He was hurt that I didnt trust him. Seriously, these people are good. Luckily, as I finally explained to him after our 50 minute call, I have a Mac. Hmmm.....maybe I am the scammer. At least they couldnt call someone else while they were on the line with me. Be careful out there!!
