Well I just had a new subway Prime rib sub… the gelatinous material they are trying to pass off as Prime Rib is a bit disturbing.. I mean.. it looks like meat… it even tastes a bit like meat… but.. really.. “Meat” should not “dissolve” when it enters your mouth should it? Yes.. melt in your mouth meat….. .had it not been for a few crunchy veggies and the bit of chew the bun gave me I really had no need for my teeth on this one.. I am now awaiting the side effects of what ever tenderizer and additives that were put in the meat to give it that interesting effect.. (I keep picturing a vat of discarded meat in a garbage container simmering in slime over in China and some wee man poking it every few months smiling as it gets to it’s serving point saying “Ah yes, is amose leddy. Ha ha.. sirry people eat anyting” as he wipes his hands on his subway shirt….)… Is it really meat? Is it a meat by product? (I always wondered what that really ment)… Like fake crab meat.. fish rolled up and dyed to look like a very slender crab leg…. *shiver*.. How many by products can they actually make from meat anyway? If you take into account lips and assholes I’m thinking many.. and don’t even get me started on Meat Glue.. (If you have never heard of meat glue you just gotta see this video.. it will give you chills I promise you). youtube/watch?v=hXXrB3rz-xU So.. now… I wait.. for my hands and feet to start swelling from the massive quantity of MSG I just ingested… or perhaps it’ll be a round of desperate racing to the toilet this afternoon as my innards decide to reject it’s latest contents… Lord knows I could use the exercise but I am getting a bit old to leap over the dogs in my vein attempts to beat my bowels to the bathroom.. So my friends… wish me luck this afternoon.. I can already feel rumblings so I should go and clear a path to the lavatory and lock up the dogs… Have a great afternoon .
