Well, I really enjoyed Butler It was entertaining, the acting was excellent, so what if there were flaws. It is the best depiction of the Civil Rights Era EVER done. I was moved often. It was cleverly juxapositioned between the White House and black community. So what if Jane Fonda, Vanessa Redgrave, Mariah Carey (who I didnt recognize) etc had cameo roles. Those I recognized were all civil rights activists or lefties, so it was probably a treat for them to be in this damned good film, and Forest, Oprah and Oyelowa were great.
