Im thinking of the divisions that the TRC created...how it was designed by privilege, and paid for by entitlement. It looks like Im attacking residential school survivors eh, well Im not that dumb lol ....the results are good. The whole event is now why the residential school history will be in history books and taught in schools....whats hideous about it is, the RS experience isnt over. Its not yet history....its present and it gives our parents a stage to tell their story but gives us a closet to die in Bcoz ours is measured as less than. Thats hideous... What can I say good about these things is that ppl come together. They are not alone in their pain. It brings a lot of old hurt right to the surface.... So we can deal with it and get that sacred opportunity to weep n release.... I am going to also say tho, that those who are second, third, even fourth generation, are looking for peace or at least some kind of bullseye on their very own monsters ... The division even creates a twisted reality that has us vying for fkd upness.....its really not that visible if u are entitled, privileged....if u have a home, food, safety, a role that would never understand the kind of violence and despair that attaches itself to the intergenerations... So now that its a wrap, now that the world is no longer watching, where are those who never went to school but are still so ripped to shreds by the ripples?? Lets jingle dance a few for those ones.....lets do some prayers for our sponsors, that maybe they dont really mean to poison us....or how about some for someone obviously bitter n toxic like me.....I didnt go to those schools but every crime committed against those children that went, was committed against me.....by my own ppl and solidified by the seemingly normal systems that developed from dark beginnings... When u hear about how all these so called current systems are better than ever....take a damn closer look....what had changed about them? Look at their origins, how they came to be.... So I hope all who attended the years of TRC can coexist with ppl like me who cannot align with events like that....Hope u dont look down on those of us who Cant Get Over It
