Well, I see the Medical Marijuana Bill passed in the State Senate in PA. My hope is that they have it regulated as much as they can. I know there are people out there; that would like to have it to help with their symptoms of certain diseases like Lupus, MS, PTSD etc. There are people that really do have PTSD and may need that to help them BUT what about all these people that are going to be lineing up at their doctors making up excuses as to why they have PTSD? I already have heard some lame excuses as to what caused this. My boyfriend spent a long time in the hospital with double pnemonia and could have died and my son was in a lawn mower accident and had his leg cut really bad. Both of these people do not work or intend to work. They love their pot so of course they are going to say whatever to get it for their recreational use. I should also say that both these fellows are alive & well today. Things happen in all our lives. Some are tragic and some are devastating and we never know what can happen at any given minute. My son had a major heart attack at age 27 and did I go around whinning that I had PTSD from it and needed marijuana to help me out? NO! Of course I was upset by it and continue to be upset but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do and not sit around feeling sorry for yourself and making up excuses to use marijuana just because you like to get high. I had a family member who had the most devastating lose a person could go through and they are whinning that they need pot for PTSD & if anyone should, they should be. I just chatted with a person today who has PTSD due to child abuse when she was a child and then later on broke her back and lives with chronic pain and also Lupus. Now I can understand her needing it to help her. To these other two and people like them: Isnt it time to grow up and stop acting like a couple of idiots? I just hope it is regulated and the doctors are really on to the fakes out there or every young person is going to be getting high. How they hold down jobs or even get jobs if they are high? Keep in mind that these people will be running the country some day. Of course not everyone is a young person. One that I know personally is 57 and was arrested for delivery which means she sold it but claims she has PTSD becasue her son was injured a few years ago in a lawn mower accident. She is in county jail for a very short period of time. It is ridiculous and SCARY!
