Well I was going to quickly show some people my fish today, but Twitch has decided to ban me for non-gaming content (although that hasnt been confirmed). Yet there is nowhere on their website that states I should be banned for this. From their site: Non-gaming content Not sure if you noticed this, but Twitch is a place for games. Video games, board games, card games, fantasy sports, LARP games -- you name it. And while its nice to take a break and just chill out with your audience, please ensure that your channels primary focus is on gaming content. Very poorly written and does not actually explain their stance on this and neither does their ToS. According to this though, my 10hrs+ of gaming videos that are on my channel, including 2.5hrs from last night, descriptions, pictures and streaming habits are obviously not the primary focus of my channel and the 30mins of my fish must be... Well done Twitch, your doing well with thinning your community numbers (or so I have read, since February). Actions like this do not make your name and services look too good. If you are going to ban people for something like this, you might want to detail it on your website, because nothing on your website says that the service cannot be used in this way, nor does it state that it would or even could result in a ban I await your response to my support emails! I think Ive let it all out now...
