Well I woke up early this A.M. In a state of grace and gratitude...thanked the universe for my blessings and then picked up my three friends to go to Oliver for the bridge tournament. It was a gorgeous sunny and mild day...beautiful drive, great conversations...just wonderful...met some of my bridge friends from Winfield, then sat down to play some cards....4 1/2 hours later, after 8 rounds, and a terrific lunch, my partner Marilyn and I walked away with first place and we each won $50.00!!! Excellent day, started with gratitude, finished with more appreciation and gratitude... Just so you know this was no small feat...there were 104 people in the tournament, 26 tables of 4 bridge people each...so we did really well and beat the second place people by almost 2000points. We got over 10,000 pts...in 8 games. I am getting ready for Omar Shariff! Haha for those of you who dont know bridge...to me this is like winning the Grand Prix, an Oscar, or the gold in Olympic curling, but on a much smaller scale....hahaha... And now to sleep, perchance to dream.....aummmmmm
