Well, I would just like to reassure everyone that thier life isnt so bad compared to mine this day has been a real challenge so far and it is just now turning 2 pm... Wonder what the rest of my day/night will turn out to be like... It all started with the kittens showing up...after that by 7 am one of the kittens had gotten out and as it was doing so, I slammed its little head in our door (i didnt see it, honest), and off it went-that was 7 hours ago. In the meantime, my dryer that went out yesterday after being fixed for 150.00 yesterday as well, took the repairman a very long time to work on...it is fixed but only temp..., then add 3 teenagers,a hyper (but cute, mike) neighbor who stops in for coffee and ciggs at his leisure and make the dogs go crazy...the other neighbor roaring by at full force with his old tractor and older trailer and 3 dogs that love to eat cats, the hunter who must have gotten something big coz he roared out of here, roared back in with a trailer and a four wheeler, his friend who roared in at out and in again and out again right behind him...the whole time the dogs are going out of thier skulls with pent up energy coz all of my time has been spent on food, litter boxes, stopping cat fights (lol), dog fights, feeding the three teens and trying to get mine to help just a tiny bit around the house...the whole time I am rushing around like something with its head cut off and then it starts to rain jsut as I am goong out to look for the kitten that shouldnt even be here.I walked the perimeter of the whole 2 acres and then walked down the tractors path and to thier farm,walked the hunters trail until I would have been invading his kill zone, and walking up and down the highway to make sure there isnt a squished kitten...well at least the rain that started very lightly and has continued to get heavier isnt freezing rain (which I fully expected to start at any minute when I was at my furthest point of my search) and it is only cold rain...isnt that reassuring? And to top it off-no kitten!!! I feel like Owens mom from THROW MAMA FROM THE TRAIN is going to jump out at me and start screaming muwderer, muwderer...I feel terrible and getting madder and madder at the man who dropped them off like a coward in the middle of the night. Had it been done right, it wouldnt have been such a surprise and the chaos would have been reduced to at least a minimum. Did I mention the fact that my first impression of this guy was that he was gay and not very true hearted, but when he persisted to call and stop over with diffferent bags, baskets and bows to surprise his kids with the kittens...he even borrowed my picnic hamper to bring them in, had bows...grrrrr!, etc... (where the hell is the pik-i-nik basket now? (mr ranger, sir)-any way I thought he was gay and wasnt even going to give him one of the kittens. Boy, was I a pushover. I guess I should advertise as a try before you buy kittenshop Well, Im off to the shower, my freezing cold feet and ears are starting to sting a little from the warmth of the house. I feel like my karma has maybe bitten me in the ass coz I was so hateful this morning.. I mean I didnt act on it,. but sometimes I think it isnt the acting on it as mucg as the going there to think it. On that note./....:)
