Well.....Im doing it anyway :-) Today I am so Thankful for busy-ness, I am so thankful that we were so busy at work that I hardly had a moment to think about that one thing thats been pulling at my heart strings all week, Im so thankful that we were SO busy that I never even had a second to check my phone for anything, Im SO thankful we were so busy from 9am til 1pm that I hardly even felt the time. Im thankful for awesome belts that make me look and feel like a Pirate. Im thankful for awesome work friends, who, whether they know it or not, lifted my spirits all day long. Im thankful for local honey, and vitamins and supplements. Im thankful to be needed and to have a job. Im thankful for working, even on a Sunday during Sunday Brunch (the new religion) ;-) Im thankful for friends who call out of the blue and leave really sweet messages on my phone. Im thankful for tomorrow. Im thankful for Dan, and how even though he does not know all of why I am upset he still tries everything he can to lift me up. Im thankful for Chinese food, and for Stephen King and for The Storm of the Century. Im SO thankful for bubble baths, and wine, and chocolate and music and books. Im thankful for Lightning. Im so thankful for Lightning, but I understand how difficult it is to be Lightning, how beautiful, how useful, how powerful, and electric.....but how beyond control, how unpredictable, how dangerous, how potentially harmful, how deadly....Oh Lightning! Sometimes I want to be grass. I figure it is SO easy to be grass, so beautiful, so calm, so predictable. Oh grass!! But, we are what we are ;-) Im thankful for Lightning. Im thankful for writing and words and poetry and poetry class. Im thankful that dinner is here and that I have to go now and finish watching this movie with someone who has been my dear friend
