Well Im loving this weather!! NOT!! I had very good intentions on doin front and back gardens before the really wet weather sets in and I even checked the forecasts. Do I ever feel cheated!! At some point the sun was meant to make a slight appearance. But did it? No!! So as we have set clocks back and its darker earlier, I had to make up my mind and search out a window!! Half two it was. So get mower out and lovely new rake and a good stiff broom. Everything I needed to begin. Put on my music and began mowing the back. Well clearly the sun didnt get the memo, as it never came out!! Instead Im doin yard in crappy damp fog and finding that its gonna be a race to see if I beat the mizzle!! For those that dont know mizzle is tiny (extremely tiny) droplets of rain. Some call it mist but its not as big as mist. So now its getting damper out and I can feel everything getting wet!! So finish mowing, and put it back in garage as if it turns to rain dont wanna ruin it. So I then began to marvel at this adjustable new rake. U could slide it out and make it it big or small. So began raking and bam, every piece of the prongs in my rake went in different directions. Ggrrr!! Now I have no rake. The prongs literally fell out!! Garden still needing raked, actually at this point its needing swept!! I now have to use my stiff broom to gather the now wet grass. At least it did the job, everything was pretty much wet by now so I shoved the wee piles in a WET bin bag and promptly finished up all the while thinking, Im having me a beer or two when Im done!! And a very hot bath tonight. Oh and being I did it all by myself as stu and Craig way to busy on xbox!!! But at least Im getting treated to a Chinese!! And so I should be!!
