Well, Its day two since getting Franky back home after his PetStem - TopicsExpress

Well, Its day two since getting Franky back home after his PetStem Cell therapy treatment. He was very wobbly and his eyes were looking really droopy from the anesthesia. He seems to be doing much better now but hes still slowly recovering from the PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) that was extracteded from his own blood and injected back in to spur regeneration of his most affected areas - around his hips, lower back and knees. Yesterday we spent the day together as he joined my friends and I at softball and then we went to the beach! Franky LOVES the beach and the sand is good for exercising his legs. The only problem is having to keep a very close eye on him as he will eat anything to fill his ever hungry tummy. Thats where we run into serious problems. On Mothers Day he was struck w a bad case of Pancreatitis (probabaly from eating fast food and other garbage he finds on the street when Im not looking). It was not a good morning for me as I awoke at dawn to his cries and half a home doused in a trio of nasty vomit and bloody diarrhea which I had to clean up w a bad back for hrs and then rushing him to try to find a vet emergency room on a Sunday morning not knowing what was wrong with him was no fun and NOT cheap. I am now officially not disgusted by anything anymore... :/ (Except emergency room Vet prices!!) Ultimately, that hes back and better is all I can ask and be grateful for. I dont know how much more time well have together but as long as he wants to live and play I will support his every effort. Thank you all for your continuously sweet and sage support.
