Well, Ive been discharged from the hospital now for 24 hrs. and I think about how fortunate I was to catch what happened before it got out of hand. Its called rhabdomyolysis, the excessive breakdown of the muscle tissue that can lead to kidney as well as liver failure. But Ill be honest, the hardest part for me is the realization that the way Ive always trained, may never be the same. And that is if I can in fact train at all again. I really hope that this is not the case, and if I am able to train, it will be so hard to train other than the only way I know how, and thats giving it all I have and always leaving the gym knowing that I pushed my body to its extreme limits. It will be hard to do anything less.... but I must realize my health, especially now, is more important and all I can do is thank the god lord for seeing me through this before things got out of hand. I also want to thank my wonderful family, friends and all of you who commented and wished me well.. I truly appreciate it, you great and caring people, and that in itself puts in perspective what it is to be fortunate :)
