Well, Kyle and I sure hope our first day of sledding in Revy is no indication of how our winter is going to be. Talk about a complete write off. Kyle started by missing a road and getting to Cochrane 45 minutes late. Then I lost my key to the locks on my trailer and sled. Had to find bolt cutters to cut the sled off the trailer. Finally get loaded on his truck 2 hours late. Get to Frisby and things are looking pretty good!! Get in some decent early season snow and even had to help Kyle get unstuck for the first two (and only) stucks of the year!!! Notice a big gas smell from Kyles skidoo which was just serviced at another great skidoo dealer. NOT!! Gas is literally pouring out of the injector heads. Sure do appreciate the great service Ive got at Cycle Works Foothills. We got down off the Mtn as fast as we could and were really happy it didnt burn up. Now we cant find any mechanic until we find the great guys at Full Speed Rentals and they let us use some tools to check out the leak. No good, clearly none of us are mechanics. Not going to get it fixed so we decide were headed back to Alberta after riding for about 30 minutes. Oh wait, we actually booked and paid for a room. First time weve ever done that ahead of time. Good thing we met some really nice people at Glacier House who said theyd cancel and wave the fees for us. Its gotta get better from here!!!
