Well, My GP calls my kitten fostering for the RSPCA (9th year) - TopicsExpress

Well, My GP calls my kitten fostering for the RSPCA (9th year) kitten therapy, she will literally sometimes say, I think it would be good if you can organise some kitten therapy if I am travelling a bit rough with managing my injury/working/just living. Whilst dealing with neonatal (1 day old to 4 weeks) kittens can be heartbreaking (we lost 12 last year and I have already had one put to sleep this season) during those dark times when it seemed I had no value as I was broken with a workplace injury, having to set the alarm clock every few hours thru the night and get up in the morning to look after little lives who depended on me gave me a purpose and a sense of self worth in one aspect of my life. Being valued by the cattery and vet staff of the RSPCA and seen as a neo expert, whilst feels embarrasing when they say it, it is said often enuf to sink in that it might be true! Once they are weaned and big enough to play then what happens in this film clip comes into play. It is difficult to not feel stressed when you have a litter of kittens cuddling up purring their tiny heads off just before they go back for adoption (abt 10wks old). Support the ACT RSPCA - donate.
