Well, Rob Becky Monk has been the designer of the cask ales as of late so we figured wed give another of our brewers a whack at it. And that person is Matt Waugh!!! We are very certain that all yall are going to be super stoked to hear what he has created for your enjoyment this week. It all starts with a child-hood love of true sarsaparilla and a keen sense of what goes into one. A little research and a lot of love later, we have a creation that has been deemed the best selling cask ale installment since the beginning. In place of all that hops we love so much, Matt used sarsaparilla root, sassafras root, birch root, licorice root and vanilla beans. To prime it up he used molasses, lactose & dextrose. We have a feeling, since it has historically been the best seller, that it will be going very fast!!! Get down here with your growler(s) and fillem up quick because this is one for the books!!!
