Well, SCOTUS is not totally bonkers. If a warrant is needed for a smartphone search why not also for all that NSA & FB I surveillance ? Oh, because the ass holes in Congress passed the Patriot Act and now refuse to exercise oversight on excess agency broad interpretation. Congress with no balls is the problem in failing to a dress the excess of the post 9-11 security state. And the fact that Obama has failed to fire Clapper for lying to Congress is unforgivable. If we make false statements to a federal officer, some overzealous US Attorney could prosecute us. But a senior Obama administration official lying to Congress ? Oh, Barack looks away. Congress should defend NSA until Clapper is fired.
