Well Saturday was all going smoothly and well organised so that when Jan got here in the evening we would have all feeds done and could sit and chat...well almost. So I got her to help with feeds for the bubs which was great as it halved the time. Got a call halfway through dinner about a possum mum and Bub Anne had rescued covered in oil. So I rang the Uni to say I was available to help and suggested they get some LOC to wash them as I have had great success with it in the past. Not long after that I got call to please come via Annes to collect the LOC and help out. So Steph and I went down and Oh what a sad sad sight they were but it wasnt oil it was diesel! The LOC shifted most of it but was not getting rid of it all so we called it quits after three baths and put them in the hot box with some fruit. Fed bub some milk and that was all we could do for the time being. This morning we went back down and this time took some Earths Choice citrus wash with us an dsome morning fresh. (I was looking for the Citrus Blast mechanics use) well I can asure you the citrus one worked a treat! And being able to Gas them rather than injectable sedation worked a treat! Made the whole job so much quicker and less stressful all round. The decision was made to remove Bub from mum as she had been trying to get a feed all night and by 9am still hadnt got more than 2ml :( At least this way mum can concentrate on her own recovery now. Bub is feeding well now which is great and is safely tucked in Stephs bra :) We collected Mum this evening and she is now in a hospital cage with warmth and food and milk to help build her up again. A huge thank you to Nicola and Abbey last night and Nick and Jodie this morning and Courtney this evening for all your help and care with these two. Anne christened them Canola and Sunflower. Apart from that life has been just peachy :) Nugget is doing so well now that the formula isnt upsetting her little tummy.Her and Titch are getting on well enough.We are back to pelleting :) Have got all Ivies gear together for her big trip I just hope she copes with it all. Cricket and Popo continue to thrive and just love being together
