Well. This is my last late night for a while.... And probably one of the last times that I will be on Facebook for the next 2 months..... I am extremely excited to be finally shipping off to boot camp for the Navy. Tomorrow I am gonna spend a lot of time with my family to say goodbye. Then Monday I will be meeting at my Recruiters office to go to MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station) facility San Diego to sit around until Tuesday to get checked out and make sure that I am good to go. The I will swear into Active Military Duty and I will then soon after fly out to Great Lakes, Illinois to go to Navy RTC (Recruit Training Center) for 8 weeks. If any one would like to send me a letter. A US Postal Service letter, then contact Carol Jarvis Shimko after about a week and she can give you the mailing address of RTC. I will look forward to letters from family and friends. Thank you to those who have pushed and supported me to this point. I will have a wonderful and positive experience no matter what anyone does. No one but me can ruin my time in the Navy. They can make it hard but they can not crush me and ruin my time serving our Nations Navy. I will make you all proud being the best that I can be. Glory to God in the Highest of High who has given me this path to follow. I thank Him for my Parents who have pushed me in their each individual way. For the countless talks with my awesome Brother and Sister who has push and supported me through this. Who have given me advice that I will take with me through the Navy and through life. All the tips and subtle advice and direction that they both gave me. I could not have done this without any of them as they helped shape me into the person that I am today. I thank Him for my entire wonderful family. For everything that they have said and done in this time leading up to this week. I go to serve with Honor, Courage, and Commitment. With the hope that I will be a light shinning in the darkness and an aid to those who seek my help or whomever I encounter. I will post an update when I get out of Boot Camp just to say that I am out and how things went. I pray that I will honor God in all thins that I do and will do and that He will lead me through this journey and through the rest of my life. Once again. Thank you everyone for your support, advice, and your continuing prayer for strength, guidance, and joy that God has give me. Thank you all and God Bless you all.
