Well after 14 hours of driving from Dryden ON I find myself in North Battleford SK, another good jaunt. I must say the drive was icy bad from Dryden to the Manitoba border then 4 lane freedom. A big thanks to Elizabeth Cook on SiriusXM Outlaw Country for planting the perfect ear worm for my drive across the great prairies of Canada. Just west of Winnipeg she played Terry Allens Flatland Boogie and it stuck in my head all day! Staying at the Golden Ridge Hotel, Nice place, excellent food in the restaurant and its First nation owned and operated. If you ever overnight in North Battleford this is the place. Should be able to make Fort Mac by late afternoon tomorrow.
