Well, after Creeks evening stroll up the fence-line Sunday all seemed slick and smooth, but Monday afternoon was quite a shock,... I walked out to Creeks pen where he was ready to greet me with all of his playfulness and cyclonic spinning. Something didnt seem quite right about him, it appeared he was attempting to hide a cantaloupe under his left jaw. It was so large and heavy that he looked like a Border Collie candle that was beginning to melt. It didnt seem to bother him in the least, it was like a water balloon. After close study, you could see where it had began draining and stopped from two small areas about an inch apart. Monday evening the swelling was a little over his muzzle. I kept a close eye on him, Tuesday it began draining again on its own and today he looks like himself once again. I was gonna post a picture of his temporary but hideous disfigurement, but as I was about to post, a paw slid across my keyboard and hit DELETE. Hes so vain. But he did want me to let yall know, THE SNAKES ARE OUT AND ABOUT.
