Well, after a decent morning, the afternoon was tough. Shannon had a tremendous amount of pain. She also learned that her right lung is still leaking so the chest tube will remain for now. That was disheartening because it is causing a tremendous amount of pain because it is pressing on some nerves. There is also a good deal of tingling in the right arm, but no sensation loss. Doctors are being consulted on this. Also found out today that she is expected to be off work much longer than she first anticipated. Of course this brings on the worries of finances for her. Some dear friends are trying to help with this, and Shannon is very grateful. Being Shannons friend or family member you know she is a very strong, independent woman. This has been a very mentally draining time on her being dependent for everything. This is most evident in the wee hours of the morning. She will get passed this, but she covets your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for caring, praying, reading the updates, and loving this precious soul.
