Anyone who has watched the flu virus travel knows it travels in one location and spreads through multiple local regions. In this case, we have an odd aberration, as the extreme region of Sierra Leone. This is not even close to the Congo. The fact that Sierra Leone is one of the poorest regions of Africa makes me wonder how people in this region managed to get a disease that has only been found in the central region of Africa for the past 40 years?
