Well apparently my decision to walk away from the foundation was premature. Our 501c3 status had been revoked because the accountant I consulted gave me the wrong information. We filed for reinstatement but the process took forever and I was really discouraged after we lost Liz to cancer. I felt defeated and my time was consumed with work and my other responsibilities, I just didnt know how to do it all. Today I received our reinstatement approval from the IRS retroactive. I guess someone is trying to tell me something. I will be looking for board members and volunteers so if any of you are interested please let me know! We have work to do!
