Well as most of you may know 2 1/2 years ago I was knocked back a few steps and started all over in my career. At that time I made a goal for myself to pick up the pieces and rebuild and get back to the point of where I was. Well a little over a year went by and ALOT and I mean a lot of hard work later and I was promoted back to Corporal and brought back to Intake. Now 2 1/2 years later I have accomplished my goals and went above this. Today while teaching I was called into rollcall where I was teaching new officers and was told that I had been out of uniform all day. With the superintendent, deputy superintendent, major, and others I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. It was a great prob alga to be promoted by a Major who as of 1600 today was retiring. It is a bitter end to my reign in Intake but it is time to move on and pass the torch. I will miss the department and the officers and supervisors I have had the pleasure of working with.
