Well as of today my mum has been gone for the same length of time i had got to share her life with her, i was only 12 when my mum flew up to heaven and today she will have been gone 12 years, i have been through some of the hardest times of my life since my mum had passed away which most girls would hold their mums hand through just to be able to feel safe & loved. Through this time my dad ( John ) has had to step in her shoes to support me & my sister ( Nikki) in the way a mum would and as a dad too, i would like to thank my dad for this because he has done a fantastic job for both me & my sister & has taught us to be stong. I miss my mum more than words can describe & to think today i was only half the age i am now when i lost her makes me realise how quickly time passes you by, take hold of your loved ones and give them a hug and make sure everyday you tell them you love them as you never know when might be your last.
