Well citizens, last night I had some visitors. The Dawnguard, those vampire hunters, they came to me in the dead of night. They had a proposition for me. Apparently, my deeds and stance on vampires have been noted, ever since the Volhikar battle. They also knew about my.... Visual talents. They wanted me to hunt with them. I declined. I told them the truth, that this city, and its citizens, are my priority. I was tempted to accept, but then I thought of every one of you, of the others, of Cains eyes and Loafs issues, of Nazeem. I couldnt leave things. Needless to say, they werent happy. The man withdrew himself into the shadows, saying these words to me as he went, You may not know it now, but you WILL join us. Rest assured, we will have you. Just thought we would ask nicely first... I dont know what it means, but just know that I wont let them take me, not alive. Their threats are real, but they wont find it so easy to carry them out. Ill use everything in my power to keep myself here, and crush those who think they can take me, with my eyes.... -Meat
