Well done Ted Sariklis! His online petition ended up in the paper as, according to The Leader, Astor theatre fans fight the final curtain for St Kilda theatre. We are glad that this has brought to the attention of the current landlords spokespeople, that the public would like to ensure that the current business, the Astor Theatre, could reside within the building. If you havent signed it, wed love you to. As the higher the numbers the harder it is to deny that Melbourne likes the theatre the way it is. As yet the landlord has not specified a new tenant that would move in or what the buildings future entails.
