Well done to everyone in tonights class great turnout and well done to all newcomers 💪 Done a workout myself beforehand for posterior chain hamstrings and glutes mainly: 🔸 Mobility/Dynamic warmup 🔸 Deadlifts warmup first building up to 140kg 5 sets 5 reps at that weight...slow and controlled movement is key 🔸 Romanian/Straight leg deadlifts 5 sets 8 reps 80kg.. eccentric was main focus lowering the bar very slow around 6 seconds 🔸 Barbell glute bridges 80kg 5 sets 8-10reps... hold at the top for 3 seconds with feet being driven towards the floor to put alot more pressure on hams/glutes.Very important exercise for any lifter or athlete to incorporate into there workouts for stability in the glutes which will benefit squats, deadlifts etc 🔸 Cool down/Stretch/Foam roll to finish Video is of a barbell glute bridge for anyone wondering what it is. youtu.be/eQJi9ybDA9U use cushion if needed but like people who use them for squats... theres no real need at all
