Well, family and friends, so far as I can tell my mom will be residing in a very nice nursing home in St. Joe. My poor sister spent her Labor day weekend picking her up off the floor at home. No injuries, 2 ER visits and a very astute ER doctor. Obviously there are some neuro issues going on. Mom has had 2 CT scans in less than a week, and the indications are some neuro pressure. She does know family, and is improving daily. She also is up in a w/c and eating in the dining room. Note: she is not bed ridden. She is just very weak and unable to stand or bear wt for any length of time. Plus she seems to get up and then forget where she was going, and then goes down to the floor. I spoke with her on the phone yesterday. She asked about the kids and knew which ones I was talking about. I want to thank Jodi for not panicking and hanging in there until she could get things in place to have mom safe. I also, want to thank Paul, my brother in law for his patience and support, and helping my sister with a very difficult situation. You guys are the BEST. Love you!
