Well folks here is our latest info. We had blood drawn yesterday to check Max counts and see if things were improving. I am sad to report that NO they have not. His platelets are only 17,000, his ANC was 170 it is now not even showing up on the charts, his white blood count is still 0.5. Needless to say we are delayed even further on his chemo as he can not begin to take it again until things improve. He was to have a spinal procedure on Monday but that is not even an option right now. We will still go to Dallas on Sunday night to see the dr on Monday anyway. Max has not had his spinal procedure in about 6 months due to delays in one way or another. This is heartbreaking to say the least. My boy will stay in his bubble or under house arrest until things improve. It is totally unfair for a child to go through this. My boy should be out getting dirty and raising cane but instead hes getting poked to see if we can put poison into his body to kill this awful disease that has invaded him. Join me prayer warriors in praying that Max body starts making the cells and his counts can rise. I know things could be a lot worse and I am thankful they are not. I know this is part of it, but that doesnt mean I have to like it. I am sorry for my rant but if I dont get it out I am going to go crazy. All I can do is bawl because all I want is for him to be better and this nightmare to end. I apologize for my rant and please pray that things improve. Love to you all!
