Well...for starters its nice to be back on Facebook! Lol. Now, for Thursdays update...ok...deep breathe...Emma is battle two other bacterias in her lungs... stenotrophomonas and aspergillus (mold)! Basically, her lungs are on bacteria growth overload. We cant explain why this is happening, except that Emma is just prone to lung infections and bacteria. We are focusing on the B. Cepacia for right now with several IV antibiotics, plus they added Prednisone in to help the Aspergillus levels. Prednisone is always fun, because it makes her bounce off the walls plus it makes her hungry, which led to Mommy running (literally) across Sunset Blvd. to the 24 hour Subway at 10 pm...lol. All her blood sugar finger pricks before and two hours after meals were all normal! Yay! So that lifts a big load on the diabetes side. We are still waiting on several test and to meet the endocrinologist. So, we will keep pushing on and see what today holds! Thank you for your prayers and outpouring of love!!
