Bullet dodged. So far Bob has walked a fence without falling off juggling our trip to Zagreb, his calls to jury duty, his medical appointments, his travel to Auschwitz. Near collision last night. Post out-patient surgery complication was producing agony in the wee hours. While I was insisting vociferously that he had to call the duty physician for the practice, I had forgotten that if he didnt appear for twice postponed jury duty they might pick him up from the hospital with a warrant, if we were told to go to the ER. He hadnt--maybe that explains reluctance to call. All was eventually well. The phone diagnosis turned out to be right. Staying here and forcing down water did the trick. He got some sleep and is off to jury duty. Now he only has to worry about being arrested for falling asleep on a jury.
