This is Hazel Green Ranch in Groveland CA. It was saved by the wonderful courageous firefighters during the Rim Fire last summer. It is just above an area called Five Corners on the old Hwy 132 access route to Yosemite. We dont know the names of the firefighters who were stationed there but we want to say THANK YOU!!!!. Through out the ordeal we were not allowed access as it was too dangerous as everything surrounding it burned. I watched the maps as the fire inched closer and closer to the property. We were even told everything had burned. my parents have been caretakers for this property for almost 20 years and our children practically grew up there. The first picture with the building is from before the fire. The second picture is from Five Corners about a half a mile from the property. The last picture was taken fourth of July weekend 2014. I know thousands of acres were lost and it is devastating to look at. It is the saddest thing to see, especially knowing its beauty from before. But if you were one of the firefighters stationed at Hazel Green Ranch during the Rim Fire.. once again.. Thank you.
