UPDATE & URGENT PLEA FOR HELP: We have just received an update from Silvia. No one was put down today. Tyson, Rhett, Sassy, Luckie, and Jackson have commitments. The situation at the shelter is grim. There is another list for tomorrow. The shelter is overfull and over a dozen dogs came in, with even more anticipated. The shelter staff is doing their best to give these animals as much time as possible to be rescued or adopted but they are out of room. ASF’s temporary boarding kennels are full until transport next week. Even transports are full. Silvia says this is the worst she has seen it in 8 years and we will likely lose several animals. We need YOUR help! PLEASE network, share, call rescues, pledge. If you are local, come down and meet these wonderful animals. We are their only hope and their time is running out!
